Ajith Kumar is all set for his other box-office outing titled Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The shooting of this pan-India film will commence in June 2024. Now, there is a significant update regarding the female lead of Good Bad Ugly as well. As per the reports, the production unit of Good Bad Ugly has signed the actress Sreeleela to play the female lead.
Reportedly, the official confirmation about this update will be out soon in the public domain. Reports claim that she was impressed by the storyline and has agreed to act in the film. Sreeleela’s acting career has suffered setbacks of late with constant failures in films like Dhamaka, Skanda: The Attacker, etc. Her last film Guntur Kaaram was commercially successful but earned mixed to poor reviews from the critics and the audience.
Coming back to Good Bad Ugly, the title suggests the presence of three different natures and appears to have a direct link with Ajith’s forthcoming portrayal of a triple role in the movie. As per the reports, Ajith is popularly known for his versatility and is diligently preparing to embody three different characters within the storyline.
This update of Ajith playing three diverse roles has stirred considerable excitement among his fans, as it marks his return to a triple role after a long gap of 18 years. He last played the triple role in the 2006 hit Varalaaru directed by KS Ravikumar. The news of witnessing Ajith in triple roles has meanwhile heightened the anticipation for Good Bad Ugly.
Good Bad Ugly is reported to be an intense action thriller. National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for this film while Abinandhan Ramanujam will handle the cinematography. Vijay Velukutty is in charge of the editing. Naveen Mythri will be producing the film under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.
Besides Good Bad Ugly, Ajith’s upcoming project Vidaa Muyarchi, which is reported to be an action thriller, is directed by Magizh Thirumeni. It is his first collaboration with the Thunivu star. Alongside Ajith, the film also features Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Arav, Priya Bhavani Shankar and other prominent actors in key roles. Lyca Productions is financing the project, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
