Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Shuts Down Trolls Commenting On Her Fiance

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the eldest daughter of Indian actor, filmmaker and politician, R Sarathkumar and his first wife Chaya. Currently, Varalaxmi is the talk of the town for a couple of reasons, which include the release of her film, Sabari, and her upcoming wedding with her gallerist-beau, Nicholai Sachdev. The actress had treated her fans to a few glimpses of her engagement with her partner. Varalaxmi faced trolling thereafter from netizens. Now, she has come down heavily on the hate-mongers and gave a befitting reply to everyone.

Ever since Varalaxmi Sarathkumar shared her sneak peek of her personal life on the internet, she has been on the receiving end of a lot of hate. The trolls kept dragging Nicholai Sachdev’s first wife and daughter into the comments; he was also facing cyberbullying because of his appearance. Known for her outspokenness, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar addressed the negativity.

In an interview with Galatta Tamil, she pointed out that even her father is married twice and he is quite happy in life. “I’ve seen how people talk about Nick; he is handsome in my eyes.” She added that she does not care about the negative remarks on her relationship and is not answerable to anyone.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar revealed that she shares a cordial relationship with her fiance’s ex-wife. She believes that if two people cannot be together, it is better to part ways, instead of being unhappy. Even if one does not be together, they can continue to have a cordial relationship. She stated, “I have met his ex-wife; she is an amazing person. His daughter is also a beautiful person.”

In the same interview, she talked about Nicholai Sachdev and her relationship. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar pointed out that her fiance possesses “every quality she has ever looked for in a potential partner”. She claimed that he made her laugh, is supportive and prioritises her. She also called him loving, pampering and fiercely protective about her. Despite having known each other for 14 years, the duo stayed in touch as friends and reportedly fell in love quite recently.

As per the latest reports, before the wedding, the gallerist has bought two bungalows for Varalaxmi in Mumbai, which are estimated to be priced in several crores. It will have all the luxury facilities as well.

On the work front, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s film, Sabari by Anil Katz hit the theatres on May 3. The movie opened to mixed reviews with almost everyone lauding her performance.
