'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will reportedly feature three characters from 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Los Angeles: The upcoming superhero film 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will reportedly feature three characters from 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

A user of the social networking site Reddit, who goes by the name "the_marvel_intern" spilled the information online Monday, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"In' Age of Ultron', cast of 'Agents Of Shield' show up. May, Daisy, Coulson, etc.," the user wrote.

The person was referring to Ming-Na's Melinda May, Chloe Bennet's Skye and Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson.

In the post, the user additionally shared names who are considered to serve behind the camera in the third installment in "Thor" movie franchise, "Thor: Ragnarok".

The user mentioned Adam McKay as the frontrunner for the director. In addition to McKay, Marvel reportedly is considering Gareth Edwards and Matt Reeves.

'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will see the Earth's mightiest heroes taking on the villainous Ultron (played by James Spader). Also the film will feature some new characters like Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, Aaron Johnson's Quicksilver and Paul Bettany's The Vision.

Directed by Joss Whedon, the film will release May 1.
