Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and Riteish Deshmukh reunited recently for a special dance video to promote Hauli Hauli, a song from Khel Khel Mein. The video went viral and fans were thrilled to see the Heyy Babyy gang reunite. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, we asked Akshay and Fardeen about the film, and Fardeen seemingly forgot a few details about the film. This paved way for an epic banter and eventually led to Riteish joining the chat.
In our interview, Fardeen opened up about working in the film. “We had a wonderful time doing Heyy Babyy," Fardeen said when Akshay asked him, “Do you remember where we shot?" “Yes, in Australia. Melbourne?" Fardeen guessed. Akshay facepalmed and corrected him that the film was predominantly shot in Sydney. “80 percent of the film was in Sydney." Fardeen said, “He might be right," leaving everyone in splits.
Akshay decided to test Fardeen’s memory and asked him what part of the film he thought was shot in Melbourne. Fardeen explained, “We went to Melbourne and shot our driving scene, where I am playing Parimal Tripathi. Even the one with the kids was in Melbourne."
Akshay said he would find out and immediately called up Riteish. “I am in an interview and I wanted to check, which city did we shoot Heyy Babyy in Australia? Did we go to Melbourne?" Akshay asked. Riteish, who was on the loudspeaker at this point, clarified, “Nahi…" He added that it was in Brisbane. Akshay then teased Fardeen, leaving everyone cracking up.
