Allu Arjun Wishes Rashmika Mandanna On Her Birthday, Calls Pushpa 2 Co-Star The 'Sweetest'

Rashmika Mandanna celebrates her 28th birthday today, April 5. Among the outpour of wishes flooding her social media feeds, the best one came from Telugu superstar Allu Arjun. The two have worked their magic on the 2021 blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise, entertaining fans with their stellar performances. They will reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel Pushpa: The Rule. The makers of Pushpa 2 unveiled the poster of Rashmika Mandanna’s character Srivalli on her birthday, making the occasion even more special. Sharing the poster on his Instagram story, Allu Arjun has now extended his warmest greetings to her “sweetest co-star”.

“Many happy returns of the day to my sweetest co-star Rashmika Mandanna. May your shining streak continue to rise and RULE,” captioned Allu Arjun, adding a black heart emoji. Quite cleverly, the actor incorporated the words “rise” and “rule” into his write-up, referring to the titles of the Pushpa franchise. Rashmika’s ‘Srivalli’ poster was seen in the background, but with a blurred effect. Elated at the heartwarming birthday greeting, Rashmika re-shared Allu Arjun’s post on her Instagram story. Addressing him as “sir”, she wrote, “Thank you” with lots of smiley and heart emojis.

Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa: The Rule poster captured the actress clad in a green saree, enhancing her traditional charm with heavy jewellery. She exuded a stern expression, peeking from a small opening through a hand gesture. The actress sported a red micro-bindi and vermillion on her forehead. Her hair was tied in a neat updo. Sharing the poster on X (formerly Twitter), the makers penned a lovely note for the birthday girl. “Wishing the nation’s heartthrob ‘Srivalli’ aka Rashmika Mandanna a very Happy Birthday,” it read.

The poster also revealed that the much-anticipated teaser of Pushpa: The Rule will be unveiled on April 8. The action-thriller, directed by Sukumar, will be released on the silver screens worldwide on August 15. Besides Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Pushpa 2 also stars Fahadh Faasil, Sai Pallavi, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.

Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s commercially successful Bollywood biggie Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.
