Aly Goni 'Not Sure' That Asim Riaz Disrespected Rohit Shetty In KKK 14: 'Everyone Was Provoking Him'

Aly Goni has come out in support of Asim Riaz amid his fight with the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Recently, Aly appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast when he talked about Asim being ousted from Rohit Shetty’s show. He admitted that Asim is aggressive but claimed that the latter must be provoked by somebody.

Aly argued that audiences only get to see the edited version on television and therefore, not many people know what must have actually happened on the sets. “If he reacted so aggressively, then there must have been some provocation. Someone must have triggered him,” he said.

“If the 10-12 people who were present had made an effort to calm Asim down, the situation might have been different. Instead, everyone was provoking him, which led to what happened. This isn’t Bigg Boss,” the actor added.

Aly revealed that he has known Asim since childhood and therefore it is hard to believe that he disrespected Rohit Shetty. “I’m not sure if he misbehaved with Rohit (Rohit Shetty) sir, and if he did, then he is at fault. However, the other 10-12 people who were present should have attempted to defuse the situation. Instead, they were showing attitude and trying to act like heroes. I don’t think that’s right,” he stated.

Aly Goni is not the first person to support Asim. Previously, KKK 14 contestant Shilpa Shinde also came out in Asim’s support and claimed that the former Bigg Boss star was “bullied” and “instigated”. Shilpa defended Asim saying he was not the only one who was wrong during this entire incident.

“People should be humble. Asim was alone on one side and others ganged up against him, provoked him. I kept urging him not to speak or argue with Rohit Shetty. They knew his nature and yet bullied him and instigated him. Everyone cannot handle success,” she told Times Now.

However, Shilpa also expressed that Asim should not have treated Khatron Ke Khiladi like Bigg Boss. “He was not an aggressive person. He is extremely talkative and doesn’t know here to stop which backfired,” she added.

Asim Riaz was expelled from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 for allegedly misbehaving with the host Rohit Shetty and his fellow contestants.
