On garnering over 11 million followers on Twitter, veteran actor Anupam Kher thanked his fans and well-wishers.

On the film front, Anupam will next be seen in The Accidental Prime Minister, where he will be seen playing the role of Manmohan Singh, the economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014.
It is directed by Vijay Gutte. The film is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name by Sanjaya Baru.
