Amid his divorce rumours with Jennifer Lopez, it has now been reported that Ben Affleck has moved all his belongings out of their shared mansion. As reported by PEOPLE, the Gone Girl star recently collected all his belongings from the house while JLo was away for her European trip.
“Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now,” the source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
Interestingly, this comes weeks after the photos of Ben and JLo’s $60 million mansion surfaced on a real estate website. Even though the Beverly Hills estate’s luxe interior was not officially listed for sale, its photos were posted on realtor websites like Zillow.com. This had left Ben and Lopez’s fans concerned, who were then left wondering if the two actors were selling their shared mansion.
Previously, it was also reported that the Gone Girl star has moved out of JLo’s house. Later, Ben Affleck was also spotted driving his sports car in LA’s Tony Brentwood, California and in the neighbourhood areas. Reportedly, he was trying to find a new place to stay.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce rumours first made headlines in May this year after a report by In Touch Weekly claimed that the couple parted ways because “she can’t control him, and he can’t change her”. Later, another report by Us Weekly claimed that the tension between the Hollywood duo started a few months back when they started to argue over “finances”. Reportedly, JLo was very much focused on her work, which left Ben a little disappointed.
The insider further revealed that Ben apparently “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and was feeling “worn down” by the marriage. It also claimed that “both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities.” This is said to be one of the primary reasons which caused tension between Ben and Lopez.
However, it should also be noted that neither Ben nor Jennifer have issued any statement as of now regarding their alleged divorce. Instead, Jennifer paid special tribute to Ben on Father’s Day. She took to her Instagram story to share a throwback black and white photo of Ben in a leather jacket and called him “our hero”. She also used a white heart emoji with her caption.
