K-pop sensation BTS’ fans got hashtag “scammys” trending on social media Sunday ahead of the 2021 Grammy Awards to express their outrage that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook lost the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, who were nominated for “Rain on Me.”
“Rain on me? Really? I’d rather drown. Anyway get Dynamite to 1B!! #scammys,” one BTS stan wrote, with another adding, “Bts doesn’t need the grammys but the grammys need bts #scammys.”

Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan shocked his fans on Monday after announcing that he will quit social media. The actor took to Twitter to thank fans for their wishes and blessings on his birthday. The actor had turned 56 on March 14. It was previously reported that Aamir has totally disconnected from the online world. The actor had decided to switch off his cell phone till the release of Laal Singh Chaddha.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have announced the nominees for the 93rd Academy Awards or Oscars 2021. Actors Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra announced the list of nominees. This year, the Oscars ceremony had to be delayed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Usually held in the month of February, the event has been postponed to April for this year. The prestigious award ceremony will be held on April 26, 2021.

Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi, who had accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment during the #MeToo 2018 movement, is facing a jail term up to three years. She had claimed that she has been the victim of sexual misconduct by her colleague in the industry.
She had said in a statement, “I have been subjected, on more than one occasion, to sexual harassment of a physical nature at the hands of a colleague from my industry: Ali Zafar,” the statement had read.
