Reports suggest that many board members disagreed with the chairman's move.
Mumbai: The central board of film certification has put on hold the list of 28 objectionable words that were issued by the chairman recently.
Reports suggest that many board members disagreed with the chairman's move. One member showed examples of award winning books which have cuss words in them to argue against the list.
Meanwhile - another board member quoted the CBFC act saying the sensor board couldn't implement such a decision without the consulting other board members.
Few weeks back, the Censor board had issued a long list of English and Hindi 'offensive' words that were apparently banned from films.
