The film we are talking about in this article is Agent. It was directed by Surender Reddy and was produced by Sunkara Ramabrahmam and Anil Sunkara. The film starred big names but despite this, it failed miserably at the theatres. It was made with a budget of Rs 80-90 crore. The shows of the film did not attract much crowd and were quickly replaced by other films. According to media reports, Agent struggled to earn even 40 per cent of its budget. The film reportedly recorded a global box office collection of Just Rs 11.75 crore.
Although Agent’s poor performance, the anticipation for the film was intense before its release. The teasers and trailer created significant hype but it was quickly gone after its release. Many are eagerly still waiting for its OTT release. There is still no official update regarding this.
The film starred actors like Akhil Akkineni, Mammootty, Sakshi Vaidya, Dino Morea, Vikramjeet Virk, Rajiv Kumar Aneja, Saurav Chakrabarti, Komal Chhabria, Keshav Deepak, Nalla Sreedhar Reddy Gabbar, Sriram Reddy Polasane, Denzil Smith and Koushik Mahata. The storyline was penned by Vakkantham Vamsi and Hiphop Tamizha Adhi composed the music and background score of the film. The cinematography was handled by Rasool Ellore while the editing was done by Navin Nooli.
Surender Reddy’s upcoming directorial work stars Pawan Kalyan in a leading role. The title of the film is yet to be disclosed by the makers. The storyline is by Vakkantham Vamsi and Ram Talluri is the producer. The film also stars actors like John Abraham, Shalini Pandey, Sayaji Shinde and Easwari Rao.
