Director Nadirshah Wraps Up Shoot Of Malayalam Film Once Upon A Time In Kochi

Malayalam cinema has been producing some of the most engaging content in recent times. One such film is Once Upon a Time in Kochi, which has been making the rounds on social media. The film is directed by Nadirshah. Now, it has been found that the shooting of the film has been completed in Kochi, and now the film will move towards post-production. Even though the makers have not announced the release date of the film yet, it was confirmed that it will be releasing this year only on the silver screen. An announcement will be made soon regarding other details of the project.

Nadirshah’s fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Once Upon a Time in Kochi. The film stars Mubin M Rafi, who is the son of director and screenplay writer Rafi’s son, in the lead role. Apart from him, Arun Ashokan and Shine Tom Chacko will also be playing significant roles in the project. Makal and Njan Prakashan’s Devika Sanjay will be seen as the female lead in the film. The film also has Baiju Santhosh, Johnny Antony, Sudhir Karamana, Jafar Idukki, Aswat Lal, Vishwajith, Dracula Sudhir, and others in supporting roles.

Nadirshah and Rafi are seen making comedy films in the Malayalam film industry. But this time, they have taken a darker route and will take the audience into the world of darkness. The film is expected to show the story of people who come out at night and get involved in wrongdoing. The film includes scenes of crime and the underworld as well.

Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the music for Once Upon a Time in Kochi. Shaji Kumar is handling the camera work, and editing will be done by Shameer Muhammad.

The film is produced by Kalandoor under the banner of Kalandoor Entertainments. Earlier, the makers also unveiled the first poster for the film, which received a great response from the audience.

Nadirshah made his directorial debut with Amar Akbar Anthony, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayasurya, and Indrajith Sukumaran, in 2015. His films, Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan and Keshu Ee Veedinte, have also received a good reception from the audience.
