Actor Dino Morea made his debut in the entertainment industry as a model in the 90s for many prominent fashion companies. He got his first break in acting with the television series Captain Vyom and did some breakthrough roles in a couple of films like Kandukondain Kandukondain, Raaz, etc. Despite acting in these critically acclaimed projects, he couldn’t make his mark in the films and many of his films tanked at the box office. However, after weathering these setbacks, the 48-year-old actor has found success in OTT projects like Mentalhood, Hostages, Tandav, The Empire and Kaun Banegi Shikharwati.
Dino is happy that web series like The Empire has changed the perception of him as an actor. Talking more about this in an interview with the Hindustan Times, he said,” With this show, I proved that I can do stuff, so watch m. No people are taking note and thanks to the people who are taking risks with casting. At this point, I don’t think I need to prove to anyone that I can act. There are many people who have called from the fraternity and said how good I was. I got good feedback.” According to the Raaz actor, the directors are now seeing him in a different light, not just the good-looking, guy next door, who can only pull off certain kinds of roles.
Besides acting, Dino has stakes in some business ventures as well, i.e.- the Mumbai-based cold-pressed juice brand, The Fresh Press. Mithil Lodha and Rahul Jain have c-founded this brand. The 48-year-old actor came on board as both an investor and co-founder. Cold-pressed juice is juice made with a press that exerts thousands of pounds of pressure to extract the maximum yield from fruits and vegetables. Because of this procedure, cold-pressed juice is more nutrient-dense, delicious, and healthier than juice made with other methods.
As per the reports, The Fresh Press has established over 36 stores nationwide since 2018. The brand has strategically partnered with PVR, INOX, and Reliance to cement its position in the market and accessibility to a larger audience.
