Although Sophia Di Martino confessed that she has no clue whether Loki would return for a season 3, the actress expressed her desire to share screen space with Chris Hemsworth aka Thor.

One of the much-loved Disney Plus series is Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston in the lead as the god of mischief. Based on Marvel Comics, the first season of the superhero show created by Michael Waldron, premiered in 2021. The second installment, released in 2023, ran successfully for six seasons before concluding in November of that year. Now, the burning question that has been running through the minds of viewers is whether Loki is returning for season 3. Now, actress Sophia Di Martino who essayed the role of Sylvie has opened up whether a third segment of Loki is on the cards.

Sophia Di Martino recently attended a “Loki" FYC Emmy screening alongside a Q&A at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, reported Variety. During the interaction, she confessed to having “no idea" about the Loki Season 3 arriving on the OTT platform yet. However, Martino was optimistic that her association with Marvel had not come to an end. “I’m open to more. But honestly, I think the (Season 2) finale was great and if that’s it, I’m very grateful for what we’ve had. But they don’t say anything. The veil of secrecy extends to us, too," she said.

In the same conversation, Sophia Di Martino expressed her desire to share screen space with Chris Hemsworth aka Thor someday. “I think it would be great to see Sylvie and Thor. I think it would be fun to see them get wound up, especially if Loki is in the equation," the actress continued before adding that watching the three siblings together would incorporate an element of fun into their dynamic.

Earlier Tom Hiddleston shed some light on Loki continuing its story in Season 3 at a a Disney+/Hulu event. In an interview with Variety, the actor failed to give a definitive response to the question, much like his co-star Sophia Di Martino. “There had been times before when I truly thought it was the end and I’ve been mistaken. But if this is the end, I’m so proud of where we ended up," he said. Presently, Hiddleston is geared up for two more seasons of the popular thriller series The Night Manager, as confirmed by BBC and Prime Video, reports Variety.
