Jennifer Garner’s new Instagram post has everyone’s attention amid reports about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s divorce. For the unversed, on Wednesday, it was reported that JLo has filed for divorce. Although Jennifer Garner has refrained herself from commenting about her ex-husband’s marital problems, she has the internet’s attention as she shared a video in which she was reading a children’s book.
In the video, she was seated on the floor and petting her dog while reading the book. “In case you have a little one at home. ♥️ The Eyebrows of Doom by Steve Smallman, illustrated by Miguel Ordóñez. #BooksWithBirdie,” she captioned the video.
Fans went gaga in the comments section. “The fact I was read a whole children’s book by Jennifer was not on my 2024 bingo card but uh…❤️,” a comment read. “I don’t have little ones, but I thoroughly enjoyed feeling like a little kid again thank you ,” a second comment read. “Can you read to us every day at the same time?❤️” a third requested. “I’m 42 and I just listened and giggled along. Although Jennifer did not comment on the divorce, she was seen with him shortly after Jennifer filed for divorce. Photos surfaced online showing the former couple dropping off their daughter Violet, 18, at Yale University, where she is set to begin her freshman year.
Meanwhile, as per TMZ, Jennifer Lopez filed divorce documents pro per, which means she filed them herself and not via an attorney. The date of separation has been dated as April 26, 2024, in the documents. Ben and Jennifer got married 20 years after they first met on the sets of their comedy film, Gigli. It was reported that they bonded well as friends on the sets of the film and eventually started dated. While the couple parted ways and dated other people, with Ben also marrying Jennifer Garner. But they eventually found their way back to each other in 2021.
