Alia Bhatt is gearing up for another action-packed film titled Jigra. The film is all set to release on October 11 and will be clashing with Rajkummar Rao’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Well, as the film nears release, Alia Bhatt shared another set of photos giving boss vibes. She even asked fans if they had watched the trailer till now. Fans were also quick enough to react.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia Bhatt shared photos in which she is seen wearing a black pant and a suit. She is also wearing a crop top. Her makeup game is also on point. As soon as she shared the photos, fans reacted. One of the fans wrote, “You are always in grooming mood”. Another wrote, “A slayer woman.” Many called her boss lady.

Coming to Jigra trailer, it starts with Alia Bhatt’s character receiving a late-night call, informing her that her brother, Ankur (played by Vedang Raina), has been arrested. Confused and worried, she asks him if he’s done anything wrong and if his blood tests will be clean. One then sees Ankur in a courtroom in a foreign country, unable to understand the language, as he’s taken into custody.
Determined to save her brother, Alia sets off on a mission, desperate to see him. She asks if hurting herself would force the authorities to let her visit him, but she’s repeatedly denied access. We watch as she travels to the country where he’s being held and begins her fight to get him released. The trailer picks up with intense action as Alia performs daring stunts, evading guards and taking extreme measures to save her brother, who is being tortured in jail. As she faces roadblocks at every turn, she refuses to give up.
Last year, Alia Bhatt talked about Jigra and opened up about its plot. She had revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion and determination’. “Just a little over a year later, we are ready to launch our second production – Jigra, a beautiful story of courage, passion and determination. I hope to consistently support compelling narratives that are authentic, and enduringly timeless and work with brilliant creative minds to bring them alive,” Alia had added.
Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sharvari Wagh, Neetu Kapoor also praised the trailer and cheered for the actress.
