After the heated nepotism controversy, it seems a surface patch up is on the cards for Bollywood's arch-rivals Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut. After KJo said that their hearts are big and homes are open for Kangana to be invited on the show India's Next Superstars, Kangana has now accepted the invitation in her own bold style.
A report in Mumbai Mirror states that Kangana is looking forward to being on the show. She has been quoted as saying. "I am looking forward to being on the show. It is a professional commitment for which I'm being paid. What is delightful is that Karan is okay with doing the show with me and seems to be slowly warming up to me."
She also added that while she's happy about Karan welcoming her, one should remember that she's worthy of every platform she's been on and that she's capable enough to find her own ways. "I'm happy that Karan is making me feel so welcome, but I think I have been worthy of every platform I've been on. I've earned my place and deserve to be on it. Nobody has to open any doors for me I am capable of opening all the doors myself."
Things haven't been well between the two ever since Kangana sparked the infamous debate by calling Karan a "flagbearer of nepotism" during her appearance on his chat show Koffee With Karan in 2017. But Kjo, who will be seen co-judging India's Next Superstar along with filmmaker Rohit Shetty, earlier said in an interview that if the channel invites Kangana, they'll be happy to have her with all love and respect.
