Made In Heaven’s Arjun Mathur Marries Girlfriend Tiya Tejpal, First Wedding Photo Out

Actor Arjun Mathur, known for his performance in Zoya Akhtar’s popular web series Made in Heaven, seems to have tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Tiya Tejpal in an intimate wedding ceremony. Although the actor has not officially announced his marriage yet, a photo of the two as bride and groom from their low-key ceremony is being circulated on social media. In the snapshot, Tiya can be seen flaunting her adorable simplicity as she donned a yellow and orange saree, while Arjun wore a red kurta pyjama. The newly married couple is seen with garlands around their necks, smiling widely as they look at each other.

The picture was posted on Reddit on Thursday. It was accompanied with a caption that reads, “Arjun Mathur from Made in heaven got Married today”.

As soon as the picture was shared online, the comment section was flooded with heartfelt wishes from fans and admirers. A Reddit user commented, “Lovely pic! He knows that beauty lies in simplicity after planning extravagant weddings on the show.” Another user noted, “I’m so happy for you.” One user commented, “Congratulations.”

The actor was previously married to Simrit Malhi in 2010, however, the duo called off their marriage after two years. Post that Arjun started dating Tiya. The lovebirds have been together for several years but were mostly private about their relationship.

Talking about her work profile, Tiya is a renowned production designer and has worked in big-budgeted projects like Life of Pi, Raman Raghav 2.0, The White Tiger, Game and Baar Baar Dekho among others.

Arjun, on the other hand, garnered much appreciation for his performance as Karan Mehra, a homosexual character, in the series Made in Heaven. Created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the series also featured Shobhita Dhuliapala, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, Mona Singh and Ishwak Singh. The series premiered on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.

Apart from this, Arjun has also appeared in several Bollywood films including My Name is Khan, Luck By Chance, The Accidental Prime Minister, Ankur Arora Murder Case, Brij Mohan Amar Rahe and others.
