Malaika Arora Says 'Makes Your Own Rules' Days After Seemingly Confirming Breakup With Arjun Kapoor
While Malaika Arora did not mention anything in the caption while sharing the note, the timing of her post must be considered.

Malaika Arora took to her Instagram stories on Thursday morning and shared a cryptic note which talked about maintaining a balance in life. It also urged everyone to live their respective lives by their own rules and stated that others must not control your way of living at all.

“Balance is the key, in everything you do. Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale salad when your body needs it. Wear high heels on Saturday and walk barefoot on Sunday. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are,” it read.

“Be brave, bold, spontaneous and loud and let that complement your abilities and find silence, patience, modesty and peace. Aim for balance. Make your own rules and follow your own path. Don’t let anyone tell you how to live according to theirs,” the note added.

While Malaika did not mention anything in the caption while sharing the note, the timing of her post must be considered. Interesting, this comes at a time when the Bollywood diva has been making headlines for her rumoured breakup with Arjun Kapoor. Last month, Malaika left fans concerned after she skipped Arjun’s midnight birthday celebration at his Juhu residence. She didn’t wish him on social media either, which led to speculation about their possible breakup. Later, Malaika crossed Arjun at an event when they ignored each other and seemingly confirmed their breakup.

Amid the ongoing rumours surrounding her “on-off relationship” with Arjun, Malaika recently spoke about how the internet can be a very toxic space. “I have somehow built a mechanism — or shield, I would say — around me where I don’t let the negativity through anymore,” Malaika told Hello magazine.

“I’ve insulated myself from it. Whether it’s people, a work environment, social media or trolls. The minute I feel that energy, I recoil instantly. It’s something I’ve learned to do over time. It would get to me earlier and I would lose sleep over it. I’d be lying if I said things don’t affect me at all — I’m human too and so I will cry, break down and have all the emotions associated with being trolled. But you’ll never see that in public,” she added.
