As the nation mourns the death of legendary industrialist Ratan Tata tributes have started pouring in from all sections, including politicians, industrialists and celebrities. One of India’s most celebrated business tycoons, Ratan Tata passed away on Wednesday at the age of 86.
He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for old age-related illness. His towering achievements, visionary leadership and philanthropic contributions have left an indelible mark on the nation, now sparking profound grief among everyone.
Bollywood celebrities are mourning the death of Tata with heartfelt tributes and messages. Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal also paid a tribute to the Tata Group legend. Juyal, who was visibly emotional, paying his heartfelt tribute, called Ratan Tata not only rich but also a ‘man of a big heart’.
Speaking to media, the actor said, “Bohut dukhad ghatna hai kyuki humare desh ki dharovar the woh (It is very sad news. He was the country’s rich legacy).”
He went on to share how he grew up with the stories of Ratan Tata, who Raghav believed was not just rich but a man with a big heart.
“Bachpan se unki kahaniyaan sunke bade huye hai. Sirf insan paiso se nahi, dil se bhi bada hota hai. Unhone humein yeh sikhaya hai,” he said before concluding with, “Jai Hind, Jai Bharat! Ratan Tata, thank you very much,” the actor said.
Earlier this morning, Raghav Juyal penned down his tributes for the late industrialist on Instagram. “Let every youngster know what a gem of a person Ratan Tata sir was. His life was a testament to integrity, humility, and selfless dedication. The Titan of India. Rest In Peace Legend,” he wrote.
Apart from him, many other actors across Bollywood and south industries also expressed condolences on social media. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Riteish Deshmukh, Shraddha Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma, and others mourned his demise.
Ratan Tata’s Funeral
The mortal remains of the veteran industrialist were brought to the NCPA lawns in Mumbai for people to pay their last respects and homage. While the last rites will be performed with full state honours, the Maharashtra CM has also announced state mourning on Thursday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to Tata, expressing his condolences in a late-night post on X. Several Union ministers, politicians across parties, sports persons and industry leaders also paid homage to Ratan Tata on social media.
