During a previous interview, Nawazuddin disclosed that his daughter Shora expressed the desire to pursue acting as a career, inspired by her father’s footsteps in the industry. At 13 years old, Shora is eager to delve into the world of performing arts. In support of her aspirations, Nawazuddin enrolled her in an acting school to ensure she receives proper training should she choose to pursue acting professionally. Acknowledging acting as an art form that benefits from preparation, he emphasized his commitment to backing her in any way he can, as stated in his interview with Times of India.

He shared, “I want Shora to follow her dreams. She is 13 and is all set to pursue performing arts. I have enrolled her into an acting school. I want her to be a trained actor if she wishes to take up acting professionally. Acting is an art and it helps to be prepared.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya Siddiqui have two children together, a daughter named Shora and a son named Yaani. Last year, the couple was on the brink of divorce due to a property dispute, but they managed to resolve the issue amicably. At present, Shora is focusing on her studies and resides with her mother, Aaliya, who now goes by the name Aaliya Anand Pandey.
