Nora Fatehi is a well-known actress who rose to prominence due to her excellent career as an actress and dancer in Bollywood. In 2018, she starred in the blockbuster music video Dilbar, which has over one billion views on Youtube and has provided her with additional opportunities to showcase her ability. Nora has appeared in a number of Bollywood films throughout the years, including Bharat, Stree, Batla House, Roar, and Satyameva Jayate. The dancing diva who also served as a judge on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10, recently got trolled after a racy dance performance on the dance reality show Dance Plus Pro.
In a video that is going viral all over social media, Nora Fatehi can be seen flaunting her dance step on the floor with her back turned towards the audience. As she shakes her hips, she pours water from a bottle in a slow motion segment. That left the judges and the contestants gasping with shock and surprise. The video resumes to people hooting and cheering for her.

While the clip made it to the internet, netizens aren’t too happy with Nora Fatehi for the same. One of them wrote, “Hate this kind of dance performance on a dance show which you thought you’ll watch with your family.” Another one commented, “there was DID in my childhood and then there is this. anyways, i think kids don’t watch this anymore. there’s a bigger poison – youtube and reels. TV was the poison when i was young.” Someone else said, “Not acceptable..not everything everywhere it is to be sensualised.” A netizen stated,”It can belong the a particular culture but man does this looks cheap and vulgar. No aethetics or whatever and this thing with water cringeee.”
Known as one of the best dancers in Bollywood today, Nora has amassed a global following and a dedicated fan base through her sensational performances and acting prowess. Besides dancing at events and movies, Nora has also been a judge on dance reality shows in the past.
On the work front, Nora Fatehi will soon be seen sharing screen space with Vidyut Jammwal for a one-of-a kind action entertainer Crakk. Earlier last year, she announced that she had wrapped up the complete shooting for the film in a heartwarming note.
While Nora made her film debut in 2020 with Street Dancer 3D, the actress has now revealed that her forthcoming films have different genres and have allowed her to push more as an actress.
In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Nora admitted that it has been difficult to convince filmmakers, not because she’s a dancer but because there’s a shortage of makers who want to take a chance on her. “I don’t think because I dance, they don’t want to cast me. Our main iconic heroines in Bollywood have been dancers who perform beautifully. And they excel in dance numbers, right? That was just part of the package of being like an iconic heroine. I don’t think it was because of that. I think it was always, oh, I don’t know. It’s almost like let’s see who will take the chance on her [on me], and if she delivers in all the categories, meaning the acting skills, the presence, the aura, the ability to express the language skill, then we’ll all jump on the opportunity. So I think it was who would have got the ba**s to do it first, to take a chance on me first. I think that was what everyone was waiting for,” she told us.
