Director Raghu V. Shastry recently unveiled the first look of his upcoming bilingual film Lineman, set to release in Kannada and Telugu. The poster showcases the lead character, portrayed by Thrigun Nayak, in the guise of a lineman, holding a ladder while the village residents engage in various activities on it. The film also stars Kajal Kundar in a pivotal role, alongside veteran actors B Jayashree, Mico Nagaraj, Harini, Anjali and Apurvashree. Described as a comedy entertainer, Lineman has garnered positive reviews, particularly after its screening at the Bangalore International Film Festival.

The storyline revolves around a local lineman who refuses to provide electricity for a village function, leading to repercussions from the villagers. Produced by Yateesh Venkatesh and Ganesh Papanna under the banner of Purple Rock Entertainers, the film promises an engaging narrative coupled with stellar performances.
