The upcoming film, Double iSmart has been garnering a lot of attention ever since its announcement. As the makers are gearing up to release the film in August, as per reports, it has already made an impressive collection worth crores through its theatrical rights. The film is considered to be a spiritual sequel to Ram Pothineni’s 2019 hit, iSmart Shankar. The makers have recently released the much-hyped song Maar Muntha Chod Chintha, which has landed in controversy.
The song has garnered much hype and has now landed in a thick soup as it has a famous dialogue of the former Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. Recently, Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader Pavani Goud demanded the removal of the dialogue from the song. She also warned that failure to do so will result in consequences. The caption read, “BRS leader Pavani Goud is furious over the use of BRS leader KCR’s dialogue ‘En Cheddamantavu Mari’ as the hook line in a song from the film directed by Puri Jagannath Double ismart.”
Maar Muntha Chod Chintha was released on Tuesday and the song has been garnering hype because of its upbeat tempo and peppy lyrics. It was shot on Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar. Looks like the makers wanted to make a lasting impact by using K Chandrasekhar Rao’s dialogue and went the extra mile to incorporate his voice to increase the intensity. But that did not go down well with BRS party members. Pavani Goud also questioned the intention of the director to use the dialogue.
Maar Muntha Chod Chintha song has been penned by Kasarla Shyam. It has a typical Hyderabadi slang and has the potential to quickly become a hit party number. It is packed with folk elements. Rahul Sipligunj, Dhanunjan Seepana, and Keerthana Sharma lent vocals for the number. Double Ismart is set to release on August 15, 2024. Now, it has to be seen if the dialogue will be removed or not.
