Veteran actress Rekha is going to take the centre stage at IIFA 2024. The annual awards ceremony is set to take place in Abu Dhabi this year. On Thursday, the 69-year-old actress was seen rushing towards the rehearsal room. For her rehearsal, Rekha was seen wearing a white tee with a denim pants and jacket. She tied up her hair into a tight bun and completed her look with a pair of sunglasses.
She was seen waving at fans but given that she was in a run, she was seen running into the rehearsal venue. Fans were impressed to see her energy. “Oh my God, she is too active and healthy in this age,” a comment read. “So cute ,” added another. “Haye ,” a third user wrote. A fourth user wrote, “Beautiful❤.”

Rekha is not the only one who is expected to set the stage on fire. It seems like Kriti Sanon and Vicky Kaushal will also be seen on stage. This year, IIFA 2024 will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. Shah Rukh was seen making his way to Abu Dhabi earlier in the evening. The actor was mobbed by paparazzi and fans at the Mumbai airport.
Earlier this month, SRK opened up about his association with the awards show. The Jawan actor said at the press conference, “I would love to attend every time, but work commitments always come in the way. IIFA is always thinking big, and now with the inclusion of Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, it’s more Indian than ever before.”
The IIFA Awards 2024 will take place between September 27 and 29 at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, promising a star-studded spectacle that fans won’t want to miss.
