Please Please Please, a summertime song by Sabrina Carpenter, is currently number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Carpenter’s chart-topper climbed one vital spot from last week’s No. 2 chart position with 50.9 million streams, 7,000 sales and 3.2 million radio airplay audience impressions. Billboard revealed the Hot 100’s top 10 on Monday, revealing that Carpenter’s latest hit song has surpassed Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s I Had Some Help. Meanwhile, Espresso, a viral success by Carpenter that peaked at number three on the list, is still in the top 10 and is presently at fourth.
Carpenter commemorated the occasion by sharing a Billboard chart on Instagram, adding that she will remember this day for the rest of her life.

The music video for Please Please Please stars Carpenter and her rumoured real-life partner, Oscar-nominated actor Barry Keoghan.
Bardia Zeinali directed the video, in which Keoghan is arrested many times for various offences such as fighting and looting banks.
Throughout the whole video, Carpenter is seen picking up her partner from jail after each release.
Additionally, the song is now topping the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts at No. 1.
Meanwhile, Espresso remained number one for five weeks on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and had recently landed at the top of the Global 200 list. Now, it has been replaced by the new song, which marks her second number-one smash.
Carpenter is only the second artist to score Global 200 No. 1s in successive weeks, as per the Billboard.
She now comes after Taylor Swift’s Cruel Summer and Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) [From the Vault] which hit the number one slot in back-to-back windows in November 2023.
