'Salman Khan Ko Kuch Na Ho': Vindu Dara Singh Reacts To Potential Threats To Superstar After Baba Siddique's Death
The increased security for Salman Khan is part of a precautionary effort due to concerns that he could also be a target.

After the shocking murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique, a close associate of Salman Khan, the Maharashtra government has provided Y-plus security to the Bollywood superstar. Baba Siddique was killed on October 12 in Mumbai, allegedly by three members associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The increased security for Salman is part of a precautionary effort due to concerns that he could also be a target. In an interview, Salman’s close friend Vindu Dara Singh shared his thoughts on the recent unsettling events in the industry.

He told Instant Bollywood, “You have to understand. A different type of law is going on. This is very funny because there is a court and everything. No one knows the truth, and nothing has been proven yet. So it is really shocking and unbelievable what is happening. I hope and pray that better sense prevails and Salman ko kuch na ho (nothing happens to Salman).”

It has come to light that a contract worth Rs 25 lakh had been placed for an assassination attempt on Salman Khan near his Panvel farmhouse. This plot, reportedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was revealed in a chargesheet filed by the Navi Mumbai police. The conspiracy, which stretched from August 2023 to April 2024, involved plans to acquire advanced weapons like AK-47s, M16 rifles and Zigana pistols — the same type used in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

The gang’s decision to acquire such heavy weaponry was fueled by Salman Khan’s enhanced security measures, which include using a bulletproof vehicle. One of the conspirators, Sukha, was apprehended in Haryana earlier this week. He had been in contact with an arms dealer and had tasked Ajay Kashyap with carrying out the hit on Salman, reported The Times of India.

The report further suggested that several people had been tracking Salman Khan’s movements across the city. The gang had also planned an escape route through Kanyakumari, with intentions to flee to Sri Lanka after the assassination attempt.

As investigations continue, Salman Khan’s security has been further intensified amid these alarming revelations.
