The Bollywood superstar was admitted to the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday evening. SRK suffered from severe dehydration owing to the heat. “Actor Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad apparently due to heat stroke,” a police official cited by the news agency PTI said.

However, SRK is not fine and is recovering well. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend and actor Juhi Chawla exclusively told News18 Showsha “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Next, he will soon be seen in King. The film is being produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is also likely to star SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan. Recently, it was revealed that Shah Rukh will be playing a Don in his film. Much like his OG Don role, he will have shades of grey in King.

Shah Rukh Khan is likely to begin shooting for King later this year. Recently, the actor was speaking for Knight Club’s King Khan Rules on Star Sports when he shared insights on his return to the shooting schedule for the year. Shah Rukh mentioned that last year, he had three movie releases (Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki), which kept him constantly engaged. Considering the physical demands of his roles, he opted to take a break and focus on his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
