Shalin Bhanot is all set to participate in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actor was recently confirmed as one of the contestants of Rohit Shetty’s show. While Shalin has now accepted the KKK offer, he had previously rejected it.
Shalin Bhanot was offered to be a part of Rohit Shetty’s show after his Bigg Boss 16 stint too. However, back then, he had rejected it, citing his fears of creepy crawlies. In a recent interview, Shalin opened up about the same and explained that he decided to do Bekaboo after Bigg Boss 16 because he did not want to do two back-to-back reality shows.

“I took up reality show after a long break because I wanted to connect with the audience and my real self. Reality shows are good entertainment and a change from your routine. I participated in Bigg Boss because I wanted people to know me better; I am quite reserved. Now, Khatron Ke Khiladi is an opportunity to experience a world that gives me an adrenaline rush with every task,” the actor said.
Reflecting on his past decision, the actor added, “I was inside Bigg Boss 16, already part of a reality show, when I was offered another one. I didn’t want to take on two reality shows consecutively. I am primarily an actor, and the actor within me needed to return to acting. Even before my stint on BB ended, I was signed for Bekaboo, marking my return to fiction, which is my true love. Another reason to accept KKK this time is that a fiction show I was set to begin shooting for has been delayed. This offer came at the right time.”
Besides Shalin Bhanot, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 will also see Sumona Chakravarti. It will mark her first screen appearance ever since she quit Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. Shilpa Shinde will also be making her comeback on TV with KKK 14. Among others, Gashmeer Mahajani, Krishna Shroff, Asim Riaz, Aditi Sharma, Karan Veer Mehra, Niyati Fatnani, Samarth Jurel, and Abhishek Kumar were also confirmed for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Besides them, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia will also be joining the troop.
