Shilpa Shetty Lands In Trouble Over Lyrics From 1996 Film 'Chote Sarkar'

Shilpa Shetty, who landed in trouble for her 1996 film Chote Sarkar, finds herself in hot waters again.

The actress landed in trouble for her famous song EK chumma to mujhko udhaar de de, badle me UP-Bihar le le.. in 1996.

Shetty has been accused of defaming Bihar and Uttar Pradesh with the lyrics of her song. It's not just the actress but the directors and singers including Vimal Kumar, Udit Narayan Alka Yagnik, Anand Malik and Rani Malik are also in for some serious trouble.

A Jharkhand court has now decided to hear Shilpa Shetty's Chote Sarkar case on June 30 and decide whether a show cause notice will be issued or her property will be attached.

The film also featured Govinda, Aruna Irani, Kadar Khan in pivotal roles.
