The preparations for the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, are going on in full swing. As per the latest reports, many big personalities will reach Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, to witness the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram in the temple. The invited guest list includes names of celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit, and Alia Bhatt. Recently, Indian playback singer and music director Sonu Nigam, who works predominantly in Bollywood, received the invitation to witness the historic moment. He has expressed his excitement by showing a glimpse of the invitation letter on Instagram, which is currently going viral. In the photo, the singer is seen holding the beautiful invitation card that he had received to attend the historic consecration event in Ayodhya. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Aitihasik Nimantran” in the caption, which means a historical invitation.

As per reports, the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is at its final stage. Preparations for the inauguration of the temple are going on at a very fast pace. On January 22, after the consecration of Ramlala, Mahapuja and Mahaaarti will be performed in the Ram temple.

According to media reports, Ram Temple will be open to the public two days after the inauguration. The administration is ready to handle the huge crowd of devotees coming to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The organisers already began distributing worshipped akshat — rice grains mixed with turmeric and ghee — on New Year’s Day, and it is said to continue up to January 15, a week before the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple.

The temple trust’s general secretary, Champat Rai, said in media interaction that the consecration ceremony will take place at 12:20 pm on January 22 and urged people across the country to celebrate the occasion as a festival.
