It’s time for the force to assemble again as the eight chapter from the galaxy far far away reaches the cinema hall. Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been one of the most awaited films of the year, which takes forward the events from seventh chapter Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Second, in series from the rebooted trilogy, the film focuses on Rey and her training from Luke Skywalker himself, who is on a self-exile, following Kylo Ren’s swap into the dark side.
The film also marks the last appearance of late Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) as she returns as the leader of the Resistance, now finds itself one of the few remaining bulwarks against the First Order in the wake of the New Republic’s decimation in The Force Awakens.
With new characters on board and on a mission to save the galaxy from the dark force, it’ll be interesting to see what Last Jedi has in store. Will it be able to follow up on Force Awakens’ success? Will the new film justify Rey’s power? Is she the last Jedi to walk the galaxy? Will Kylo Ren be saved or will he follow his grandfather Darth Vader’s footsteps?
