The Bluff Casting: Priyanka Chopra Welcomes Ismael Cruz Cordova, Vedanten Naidoo On Board

Priyanka Chopra has undoubtedly become a sought after actress in Hollywood, with a slew of projects lined up. Earlier this year, the actress announced her new film, The Bluff, alongside Karl Urban. In the latest, the makers have roped in some more talented faces for the project. Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green and Vedanten Naidoo have been cast for the Amazon MGM Studios‘ film. Now, Priyanka Chopra gladly welcomed the new cast members for this Frank E. Flowers directorial.

Priyanka shared a screenshot of the news article announcing the new cast members on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Welcome to the team Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green and Vedanten Naidoo.” with a heart emoji. As per a report by Deadline, the roles the new cast members would be portraying are not yet revealed. The film is written by Frank E. Flowers and Joe Ballarini, and set in the 19th century Caribbean, it depicts a former female pirate (played by Priyanka Chopra) who must protect her family when the mysterious sins of the past come up.

The producers for this film are AGBO’s Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco and Cinestar Pictures’ Cisely Saldana and Mariel Saldan. Further, the executive producers are AGBO’s Chris Castaldi, Ari Costa, Kassee Whiting, Cinestar Pictures’ Zoe Saldaña, Rocket Science’s Thorsten Schumacher, Joe Ballarini and Frank E. Flowers.

Recently, on a podcast, Priyanka Chopra shared about her initial struggles in Hollywood when she did not have much work. In a conversation with Cavanaugh James on the podcast, Read The Room, Priyanka stated, “It was the industry that I didn’t know, the people, I didn’t know, I didn’t have friends who would call at 2 in the morning. That’s very important. I was very lonely, and it was very scary. I was in New York City, which, anyway, is a daunting city. It was a dark period of my life.”

Priyanka Chopra has appeared in several Hollywood films, including Baywatch, The Matrix Resurrections and this year’s romance-comedy Love Again. Citadel season two is also apparently in the works, with Priyanka and Richard Madden. She is currently working on the action-comedy Heads of State, starring Idris Elba and John Cena.
