You must have seen the Hollywood film Jurassic Park? It is an iconic film, which was released in the year 1994. The film’s director, Steven Spielberg, gained recognition and worldwide acclaim for this film. Did you know before this, he made waves with one other thriller film of his? It was titled Duel and it was released in 1971. The film has a thrilling plot. Duel narrates the story of a salesman who passes through California to meet one of his clients. However, the journey to the meeting twirls through several unexpected turns and leaves the audience shocked and disturbed. It not only thrills through the viewer’s mind but also boils up their blood. The one-hour and 25-minute-long film features Dennis Weaver as David Mann, Jacqueline Scott as Mrs Mann, and Carey Loftin as Truck Driver. Steven Spielberg has shot the film in just 10 days. The director has marked his way to the top with spectacular filmography in his career. Following the release, Duel also garnered several accolades. It includes Avoriaz Fantastic Film Festival’s Grand Prize in 1973, and an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Film Sound Editing in 1972.
