Vicky Kaushal Opens Up On Working With Rashmika Mandanna in Chaava: ‘The Only Person Who Can…’

The movie will star Vicky as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna will step into the role of Yesubai Bhonsale. As the fans wait eagerly to see their favourite stars in an intense historical drama, the former recently opened up o working with Rashmika in the film.

In a recent interview, Vicky praised Rashmika in the film and added, “Rashmika is the only person who can make hearts in 56 ways. But another sweetheart of a person. Humne saath mein hamari agli film Chaava hain where Rashmika and I got to act for the first time together. And she brings in so much positivity on the sets. She is a person like that. So she is beautiful at heart.”

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles. According to a report by Pinkvilla, actor Neil Bhoopalam has also been roped in to portray the character of a Mughal prince in the film.

Chaava marks the second collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Laxman Utekar after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on December 6, 2024.
