Vishal Dadlani on Jain Monk Controversy: AAP Didn't Force me to Quit
Well, this has been a long weekend for the composer on social platform indeed.

Following his apology to monk Tarun Sagar controversy, Vishal Dadlani said he quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on his own after offending the Jain community. However the artist still sees the AAP as "family".

Singer, music director and Aam Aadmi Party supporter Vishal Dadlani stirred a controversy on Saturday after he mocked Digambar Jain monk Tarun Sagar for giving a speech in Haryana Assembly, naked.

Hours within he posted the picture, Dadlani repeatedly apologised for his tweet and appealed Twitterati to not mix religion and politics after getting backlashed by Jain community and fellow AAP members.

In a string of tweets, Dadlani insisted that the party had not shown the door to him and it's his own decision to refrain from any active politics on social media sites.

Well, this has been a long weekend for the composer on social platform indeed.
