Watch: Diljit Dosanjh Offers Prayers, Participates In Community Service At Delhi Gurdwara

Diljit Dosanjh paid a visit to Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi on Sunday, June 23. The Punjabi singer kickstarted his North America-based concert, the Dil-Luminati Tour on April 27 in Vancouver, Canada. The opening show created “history” as the largest Punjabi concert held outside India. Presently, Dijit Dosanjh is looking forward to taking the crowd into a frenzy again during his next stop in Dallas, Texas, scheduled today, June 24. Before jetting off to the destination, the pop icon sought blessings at the Gurdwara.

Sharing a video montage on Instagram, Diljit Dosanjh documented his experience at the Gurdwara. He was clad in an ethnic avatar, comprising a white collared kurta and matching trousers. Displaying his devotion and humbleness, Diljit participated in community service with the devotees. He carried a wooden palanquin on his shoulders and walked with the others at the sacred shrine.

The clips also featured Diljit Dosanjh sitting in the prayer hall with his eyes closed. He drank water from the holy Sarovar and accepted prasad from the volunteers at the Gurdwara. “Dhan Dhan Ramdas Guru,” he captioned the post.

On April 28, Dijit Dosanjh dropped a carousel of pictures and videos on Instagram sharing sneak peeks from his Vancouver concert. “History has been written. BC Place Stadium. Sold Out. Dil-Illuminati Tour,” he captioned. The first snap captured the Punjabi star commanding the stage, dressed in an all-black avatar. He gestured towards the audience with a victory pose. The following slide was a video where the general manager of the Stadium had a brief conversation with Diljit before bestowing him with a framed memento, commemorating the glittery occasion. The other clicks showcased some of Diljit’s special moments on the stage.

After the May 24 concert, Diljit Dosanjh will be entertaining the crowd in Washington, DC on May 28, followed by Newark, New Jersey on May 30, and Los Angeles, California on July 10. He will wrap up his Dil-Luminati Tour on July 13 in Toronto, Ontario at the Rogers Centre.
