As per reports, during his early stages, he was going through dire financial circumstances. During this time, he reportedly received an offer to act in a Pepsi commercial, with a fee of Rs 1 crore. According to reports, Ajith rejected the offer despite such a lucrative amount and his financially weak circumstances.
Reportedly, the Varalaaru actor said that he doesn’t need Rs 1 crore. The 53-year-old actor reportedly said that if he acted in the commercial for this soft drink, his fans would start purchasing it. He concluded that this would not set a good example on his part.
Ajith is looking forward to playing the male lead in the film Good Bad Ugly. It is one of the much-anticipated films written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Now, Ajith’s publicist Suresh Chandra has increased the excitement regarding this film by unveiling its second poster on Instagram.
The second look shows the 53-year-old actor wearing a prisoner’s outfit, flaunting his tattooed arms and posing against the backdrop of blazing guns. The Good Bad Ugly star looked dapper in the poster. Suresh Chandra wrote in the caption,” The second look of #GoodBadUgly !!! God bless u mamae #GoodBadUgly In Cinemas Pongal 2025 (sic).”
Ajith’s followers were delighted with this update and dropped fire emoticons in the comment section. “Zoom in to the shades the gangster Billa is back”, wrote the other. For those who don’t know, Billa is one of Ajith’s hit films directed by Vishnuvardhan and is currently streaming on Zee5.
Apart from Ajith, the film also stars Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Arun Vijay, Arav, and Regina Cassandra, among others. Anirudh Ravichander has composed Good Bad Ugly’s music. As per reports, actress Nayanthara will be seen portraying Ajith’s love interest in Good Bad Ugly. The film also marks the first collaboration of the Good Bad Ugly actor and director Adhik. Good Bad Ugly is all set to release on the big screens on the occasion of Pongal 2025.
