Actor Dharmajan Bolgatty, who works primarily in Malayalam films, has been involved in many controversies. Some cases were also filed against the actor. Now Dharmajan is once again making headlines after the recent press conference for his upcoming film.
According to reports, the actor is being criticised for his remarks in the press conference held as part of the new film. The incident took place during the press meeting held recently for his upcoming film Palayam PC. The movie is directed by V.M. Anil, making his directorial debut, and is all set to release next year.
However, the press conference for the film was attended only by Binu Adimali, Dharmajan Bolgatty, and Manju Pathrose, along with producer and director V.M. Anil. Other than them, the other cast members did not attend the event. Regarding this, the question arose: why did the other actors whose faces were on the poster not appear at the press meeting?
Replying to this, the producer said that no mainstream actors have come. But Dharmajan was not very happy with the producer’s reply. The actor spoke against the producer in front of the media by asking whether people who don’t come are more important to you.
The producer then justified his reply and said what he meant by the mainstream was the people who played the central characters in the film. He is not justifying their abstinence. The producer further explained that he had invited everyone equally to this press conference. But Dharmajan said openly that his first expression had hurt him. Later, Manju Pathrose also supported Dharmajan in his reply.
However, Palayam PC is written by Vijilesh Karuvaloor and Sathyachandran Poyilkavu. It features a huge cast, including Binu Adimali, Jaffer Idukki, Hareesh Kanaran, Santhosh Keezhattoor, and Rahul Madhav, to name a few.
Dharmajan was recently seen in the Malayalam-language comedy film Corona Dhavan. The movie was directed by C.C. Nithin, making his directorial debut, and written by Sujai Mohanraj. The film stars Lukman Avaran and Sreenath Bhasi in the lead roles, alongside Johny Antony, Irshad Ali, Sruthy Jayan, and Seema G. Nair. The story was set in the town of Anathadam, where a group of alcoholics faced a struggle to obtain alcohol while the COVID-19 lockdown was in effect.
