The actor is none other than Mark Bennington. He hasn’t played major roles in Bollywood films. But he’s performed important scenes with famous actors such as Akshay Kumar, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan and Dhanush.

Mark Bennington isn’t just an actor- he’s also a photographer, writer, and drummer. When he was young, he dreamed of being a dancer or an architect. However, after school, he started pursuing acting and became a part of several plays.

After delivering several stage performances, Mark Bennington debuted in Hollywood but failed to make any real mark. Mark Bennington also appeared in films such as Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, Swatantra Veer Savarkar, Devil, Not Out and Angrezi Medium, among others. He has even participated in more than 400 concerts as a drummer.

During his visit to India, he met some actors in Mumbai. Then, in 2015, he got his first break with Dibakar Banerjee’s Byomkesh Bakshi. But the movie failed to perform at the box office as expected. He was also seen in Akshy Kumar starrer Kesari. Since the movie performed well at the box office, he started to get offers. He has acted in different TV shows and web series.

His breakthrough performance was seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The movie became a hit, accumulating Rs 1,200 crore at the box office. It even won Oscars for Best Original Song and Score. This was the beginning of his stardom and he got several prominent offers. He has acted in films such as Chiranjeevi’s Godfather and Dhanush’s Captain Miller. Other than this, he was also seen in web series like Rocket Boys, and Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo.

Recently, Mark Bennington starred as a British officer Samuel in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Now, he is busy working on Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan.
