Yudhra Box Office Day 2: Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan's Action Film Sees Sharp Drop, Totals Rs 6 Crores
The action-packed film Yudhra, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan, saw a strong box office opening but suffered a significant drop on Day 2. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film’s total domestic collection reached Rs 6 crore.

The action-packed film Yudhra, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan, had a strong opening at the box office on Friday, pulling in Rs 4.5 crore domestically. However, the film, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Sudha Anukta, saw a significant dip in its second-day earnings.

As per early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Yudhra collected only Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday, bringing its total domestic box office collection to Rs 6 crore.

On September 21, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 11.40%, with morning shows at 6.11%, afternoon shows at 11.95%, evening shows at 10.84%, and night shows at a slightly higher 16.70%. Despite being Siddhant Chaturvedi’s first solo lead role, Yudhra has struggled to maintain its momentum beyond its initial release.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, Yudhra also features veteran actors Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, and Raj Arjun in key roles. News18 Showsha gave the film three stars. An excerpt from the review read, “The film’s standout point is its action choreography. The fight sequences are brutal, fast-paced, and visually arresting. From hand-to-hand combat to elaborate set pieces, Yudhra is a decent visual treat for action lovers, who are not looking for a good storyline. While Yudhra delivers on action and has a few stylish and new sequences, the plot lacks depth, relying on familiar storylines. Despite the somewhat predictable narrative, the film remains an entertaining watch, especially for those who enjoy fast-paced action thrillers with a touch of romance.”

The sizzling chemistry between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan in the Yudhra caught the attention of many. The song Saathiya, released earlier this month, offers a glimpse of their scintillating love story. In the video, the actors were seen romancing and cozying up to each other against the backdrop of the pristine ocean. In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Malavika had opened up about shooting the intimate scenes with Siddhant and reiterates how filming them is no easy task.

She said, “It’s not easy to crack intimacy and be comfortable with it. Nowadays, they have intimacy coordinators on set, which is a very good thing. It’s important to know boundaries. The process of intimacy isn’t as simple as just doing it. Coordinators are making it easier.”
