Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor enjoy a massive fan following and there is no doubt about it. On Tuesday night, the couple was snapped by the paparazzi as they stepped out for a dinner date with Alia’s mom Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt. However, soon after a video of their outing was shared online, Alia’s fans noticed that the actress has been addressed as “RK’s wife” in the caption of the clip. This left them furious.
Several of Alia Bhatt’s fans expressed disappointment with the video and reminded the paparazzo that she is a self-made actress. “Can’t you write Ranbir and Alia or Alia and Ranbir?” one of the users wrote. “She is Alia Bhatt…..Kabhi Raha’s mom Kabhi RK’s wife..take a break man,” another fan expressed. “Both are famous and successful actors and you described Alia as Ranbir’s wife? she has a name, Alia Bhatt,” a third comment read. Interestingly, this comes months after Alia Bhatt was also honoured with the Best Actress National Award for her performance in the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. She shared her award with Kriti Sanon, who recieved it for her 2021 movie Mimi. For the ceremony, Alia wore the hand-dyed ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tilla work, designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor in 2022.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani opposite Ranveer Singh. She is currently working on her upcoming movie titled Jigra. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film was announced in September this year. Alia is not just playing the lead in the film but is also producing it. Recently, the 30-year-old actress talked about Jigra and revealed that the film is a story of ‘courage, passion and determination’.
