The popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is back with its 11th season and has brought together some renowned faces from the industry. While the show completed its third week, the contestants faced their first eliminations this season. In a shocking twist, Aamir Ali became the first contestant to be evicted from the show. Now, the show will apparently witness its first guest judge soon.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Boney Kapoor is all set to make an appearance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 as the first guest judge on the season. This will mark the first time that Boney will share the stage with Malaika Arora, who is said to be dating his son Arjun Kapoor.
Malaika is a judge on the dance reality show with Farah Khan and Arshad Warsi. The show is hosted by Guahar Khan and Rithvik Dhanjani. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the renowned celebrity dance reality show, had a homecoming on its original platform, Sony Entertainment Television. The show had its beginnings on Sony Entertainment Television in 2006. It continued being broadcast on this channel till 2011, before migrating to Colors after season four in 2012. Till its latest telecast of season 10 last year, in 2022, it continued on Colors.
We recently saw that actor Aamir Ali was eliminated from the show in its first eviction. His FIR co-star and friend Kavita Kaushik reacted to it calling it unfair. She said, “Not done!! He is so hardworking and a fab dancer. This is too soon and wasn’t even given a fair chance,” as quoted by ETimes.
However, this was not Aamir Ali’s first appearance on a dance reality show. The actor won Nach Baliye 3 with his then-partner Sanjeeda Sheikh in 2007. He was also seen as a participant in Zara Nachke Dikha 2 and as a guest in Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan. Apart from that, he also hosted Nach Baliye 4.
