David Beckham Meets Sara Ali Khan, Calls Her 'Brilliant'

English football legend David Beckham set foot in Mumbai as a part of his three-day tour as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador. During his stay, he attended several important events and met many Bollywood celebrities. One among them was Sara Ali Khan. The actress got the opportunity to have a heart-to-heart interaction with Beckham in Mumbai’s Meta Office on November 16. Among the many things that the two talked about, they were primarily focused on discussing striking the perfect work-life balance, Beckham’s dedication to philanthropic activities, and the footballer’s life journey. Later on, David Beckham took to his Instagram stories and appreciated Sara Ali Khan, calling her “brilliant”.

The picture of David Beckham and Sara Ali Khan sharing the same frame is now circulating widely on social media. It captures Beckham dressed in a navy blue suit having a conversation with Sara. The Mera logo can be spotted behind them. The actress was decked up modishly in an off-white-coloured mini dress. The duo seemed to share a laugh over something. “Great morning at the Instagram HQ in Mumbai with the brilliant Sara Ali Khan,” wrote Beckham along with the post. Sara, known for her quirkiness, re-shared the story on her official Instagram ID and replied, “Greater morning for me with the legend David Beckham”.

David Beckham and Sara Ali Khan also posed for a picture together. While Beckham revealed that it was “Great to work with”, the B-town lady, Sara confessed that “It was lovely to chat with” Beckham. With Beckham posting about Sara, there remains no doubt that the actress must have enjoyed a fangirl moment with the English football star.

Soon after the pictures surfaced on Reddit, users dropped a flurry of comments lauding Sara Ali Khan. “Finally! Happy for her. She definitely stands out in the sea of nepo,” wrote one individual. “I wonder what brilliant shayari did Sara recited in front of him? Sara looks chic for a change,” chimed in another. Taking a reference to Sara’s father-actor Saif Ali Khan, a third person wrote, “Saif proudly puffs chest: Apun ka family bhi London se hai (My family is also from London).”

During the India vs New Zealand match on November 15, David Beckham was spotted in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium to watch the players in action. The following night, he attended a private dinner party hosted by Shah Rukh Khan in Mannat. Becklam departed from Mumbai in the wee hours of November 17.
