After two back-to-back blockbusters with Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Dunki. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also features Taapsee Pannu in the lead. In true Shah Rukh fashion, the superstar held an AMA session on X ahead of the release of the film. One person told him that he was only excited for Dunki because of Rajkumar Hirani. Shah Rukh had a charming reply.
Taking to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, a person wrote to Shah Rukh, “#AskSrk sorry sir but I am more excited for Dunki. Not because of you but because of Rajkumar Hirani.” The superstar replied, “And that’s the right reason. I am also excited to be in a Raju film. Films are a directors medium….hero toh aate jaate rehte hain! #Dunki.”
However, Shah Rukh’s fans disagree. They took to the comments section to express their appreciation for the actor. One person wrote, “Yes hero aate hate rehte hai… but you are not any old hero, you are a legend and the ruler of our hearts ♾♥️.” Another added, “Director matters but hero also matters.”
One fan wrote, “Koi hero yahan, koi zero yahan…You are the best. Wish you all the best ❤️.” Another added, “Arre nahi sir aapko koi replace nahi kar sakta.” One fan wrote, “Respect for Raju sir… But sir aap toh king ho koi normal hero nahi… So humble and lovely Shah Rukh sir ❤.” Another added, “Wondering how a person could be so graceful! There is so much to learn from you.”
Dunki is one of the most anticipated films of the year after the success of Pathaan and Jawan. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are eagerly awaiting the release of the film around Christmas this year.
