After back to back blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is back with his last yet not the least flick of the year – Dunki. While fans waited with bated breath to watch their favourite superstar in action, another actor who impressed them with his acting prowess is Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kushal.
As soon as the film was released on big screens, fans flocked to social media and appreciated the efforts of the actors. Praising Vicky Kaushal, a user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “INTERVAL. The 1st Half is beyond too good. Easily a 5/5. Probably Vicky Kaushal’s career-best performance at par with Masaan. It is a roller-coaster ride of emotions for sure, ending with a perfect build-up for the 2nd half. #DunkiReview”

Echoing on the similar lines, one of the accounts read, INTERVAL! #DunkiReview It is a decent entertainer so far. Believe it or not, but the film led by others is ruled by the supporting actor – Vicky Kaushal #VickyKaushal deserves many best actor awards for #SamBahadur and many best supporting actor awards for #Dunki”

Here are some other reactions:
#Dunki IntervalClassic Hirani signature. The comedy, emotions, drama everything works big time, truly a rollercoaster of emotions. People laughing hard in funny moments. Shah Rukh Khan is in form and Vicky Kaushal is super duper impactful. Properly builds up for the 2ne half. pic.twitter.com/dSi9UlnMf0— sohom (@AwaaraHoon) December 21, 2023
Dunki Interval : The movie started slow but picked up the pace when Vicky Kaushal entered. Chemistry between SRK and Vicky Kaushal is a treat to watch. 1st half so far so good! #DunkiReview pic.twitter.com/Ln9BkSaem0— Shravan Kumar Krishnamurthy (@shravan_kris) December 21, 2023

Apart from the ‘Baadshah’ of Bollywood and Vicky Kaushal, the Rajkumar Hirani film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the story of four friends who hail from a village in Punjab. They share a common dream to visit England but do not have visas or tickets. Things change when a soldier promises to help them reach the land of their dreams. Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of Hardayal Singh Dhillon while Vicky Kaushal takes on the character of Sukhi in the film.
Produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, the film is a collaborative effort between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films. The movie is written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon. Dunki, which released today, December 21, clashes with Prabhas’s film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.
