Previously, Samarth Jurel’s father also reacted to the controversy and argued that he would not call his son's act ‘provocative’.

Days after walking out of the Bigg Boss 17 house, Samarth Jurel has finally opened up about the incident when he was slapped by Abhishek Kumar. Samarth was speaking to DNA recently, when he admitted that he was wrong but argued that he provoked Abhishek because the latter had said ugly things about Isha Malviya.

“Main jo kiya hai woh galat hai, lekin woh karne ka reason tha. Of course Isha ka ex tha toh alag hate tha. Secondly, usne bahut gandi baatein boli thi Isha ke baare mein, mere baare mein. Toh woh sab mere dimaag mein thi. Log saalon ki baat nahi bhul sakte, main 2-3 hafte purani baat kaise bhul jau,” Samarth said.

While Abhishek was eliminated from the controversial reality show after the incident, he was also brought back after Salman Khan bashed Samarth and Isha for provoking him. Talking about the same, Samarth expressed disappointment with the host’s decision.

“The housemates didn’t want Abhishek to re-enter, but after Salman sir gave his feedback, a few people’s perception changed towards him. My question is when Salman asked to vote ‘How many housemate want him back?’ I and Isha didn’t want him back, so we voted against it, but he rejected out vote saying, ‘Aapka personal hai’. Then why did you asked our opinion? Main naaraz hu for bringing him back, but it’s okay, I respect their decision,” he added.

Previously, Samarth Jurel’s father also reacted to the controversy. He was speaking to Indian Express when he said, “I feel both Samarth and Abhishek were wrong in that situation, don’t know why both of them got hyper. Abhishek was more worked up and his hand touched Samarth, but it’s okay.”

However, he also argued that he would not call Samarth’s acts ‘provocative’. “What Samarth did with Abhishek, I will not call that poking or provocation, it was a fight that escalated. It could happen to us also if there was a fight at home,” he added.

With Samarth’s eviction from Bigg Boss 17, the show is now inching close to its finale. Reportedly, Salman Khan’s show will have its grand finale on January 28. However, there is no official announcement regarding this as of now.
