In an exciting development, the next-generation Audi Q3 has been caught testing for the very first time.
The prototype of the third-generation model appears to be production-ready. It is being anticipated that Audi will unveil this automotive marvel in the Indian market shortly after its global premiere.
In terms of design, the new model exudes a certain level of sophistication that sets it apart from the current Q3 available in showrooms. Notably, it incorporates subtle design elements that resembles the Audi Q4 e-tron, especially in the front profile. The vehicle boasts a striking split-headlight setup, featuring LED daytime running lights (DRLs) above and main headlights below. The grille sports a fresh design DNA that’s bound to turn heads.
The side profile boasts of an ORVM (Outside Rear View Mirror) and 5-spoke alloy wheels. Furthermore, the upcoming Audi Q3 gets a sleek look that sets it apart from its closest rival BMW X1. The rear end resembles the old-generation Q7 and Q5 siblings.
As we eagerly await the new generation Audi Q3, anticipation is building for an all-new interior layout, complete with expansive screens and cutting-edge technology. Audi enthusiasts are also hopeful that the German luxury carmaker will make significant improvements in terms of interior space and a more capacious boot.
Under the hood, the third-generation Audi Q3 is likely to offer a variety of engine options including petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, and even an all-electric powertrain.
Once launched in the Indian market, the new-gen Audi Q3 will lock horns with the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Volvo XC40. Unlike its predecessor, which made its way to the Indian market in 2022, several years after its global debut in 2018, this time around, we can anticipate the new-generation Q3 to arrive on Indian shores promptly following its international launch.
