'Be Positive, Keep Smiling': On Christmas Eve, Rishabh Pant Shares Formula to 'Deal with Toughest Time'
On Christmas eve, Rishabh Pant shared a motivational post on Instagram in which he could be seen partying with his friends.

Far away from the cricket field, young Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is currently spending some leisure time with his friends. The wicketkeeper-batter has been out of action since surviving a horrific car crash last year in Uttarakhand. He has been on the road to recovery and has also begun walking without crutches. Pant is expected to return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) to lead Delhi Capitals for which he has started grinding in the nets.

On Christmas eve, Pant shared a motivational post on Instagram in which he could be seen partying with his friends.

“Best way to deal with your toughest time is to be positive and keep smiling coz being sad will not change the situation then why not deal with it with a smile & humility and try to make it better and keep fighting for good days,” Pant wrote on Instagram.

‘Lucky to be alive after the kind of accident I had’

Pant joined the DC think tank at the players’ auction last month. Before attending the event in Dubai, he spoke to iplt20.com and spoke about the accident he survived last December.

“The kind of accident I had I am lucky to be alive. The first part of recovery was so challenging with lots of pain but now recovery is going well,” Pant said in a video posted by the IPL.

“More from a physical point of view because in the starting there was a lot of pain to be endured. But just looking forward to the journey till now. I think it’s been going really well from a recovery point of view.

“I felt like I couldn’t face people and all, and I felt like I had to do something which gives me confidence and I wanted to support my team at the same time because I’ve been playing for them. I love my team all the way, so I wanted to show my support even in the worst times. So that was the idea and I think it’s part of the recovery process,” he added.
