The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from researchers across India. DRDO has 13 vacancies for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). There are 12 posts for Junior Research Fellow and one post for Research Associate. These seats are available in Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Hyderabad.
The candidates who get selected for the post of JRF will initially be absorbed for two years and the ones who make it to RA will be appointed for two years without extension. The upper age limit for applying for JRF is 28 years old while the same for RA is 35 years. There is relaxation in age for those belonging to reserved categories, as per the government norms.
How to apply for DRDO posts?
In order to be apply for the post, the candidate will have to send their application letter along with relevant documents and passport size photograph to the Director of Advanced Systems Laboratory in Hyderabad. Aspirants must note that they will be asked to produce the original copy of their certificates and documents during the interview or at the time of joining. All candidates must ensure that their application reaches before March 20.
The remuneration for the post of JRF is Rs 31,000 per month and the stipend for RA is Rs 54,000 per month.
Those applying for the post of Research Associate must make sure that they have the knowledge in finite element analysis, and composites or structural dynamics. The mandatory qualification for Junior Research Fellow is Masters of Technology or Master of Engineering.
Meanwhile, DRDO Defense Electronics Application Laboratory (DEAL), Dehradun has called for applications for different posts including, diploma apprentice trainee and ITI apprentice trainee. Those candidates who are interested and eligible for the posts will have to apply for the same latest by March 12. To apply the candidates must visit the official DRDO website, www.drdo.gov.in.
